I am a Systems Engineer and love to work in Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems because we are developing market leading and complex products from concept to commercial product. The variation in tasks from theoretical analysis to hands-on prototyping and through all the product development phases motivates me. We work in relatively small cross functional teams, so you get involved in many aspects of the product. The work atmosphere is great, I really enjoy coming to work in Kongsberg and meet my highly competent, nice and inclusive colleagues. Finally, I feel that our management trust the employees and gives us large flexibility to manage our own workday, which helps to get the right balance between work and family life commitments.
I am very happy to be a part of such a motivated and passionate team. I’ve handled the global marketing for Kongsberg for around 3 years and now, in 2021, we have a very exciting period ahead of us at Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems. The whole team is dedicated to making sure we deliver the best for our customers and this creates an inspiring environment to work in. I receive great support from the whole team and our management. Working at Kongsberg has provided me many professional and personal experiences. These experiences have helped in the development of my career and in the relationship with colleagues, customers and channels. The whole team is always willing to help and this is very rewarding and exciting. As one of the youngest members of the RnD team in Kongsberg, I really enjoy the responsibility given to me in driving innovation.
I am always faced with interesting problems and technologies and have the possibility to contribute all the way from idea to product.
However, my favorite thing about Kongsberg is working together with a lot of amazing colleagues and the social environment at the workplace.
